Chronic Illness Therapy
Therapy can’t cure chronic illness, but it can help you feel like you are not alone, and help you navigate each challenge with less anxiety, fear and stress.
Chronic illness can be lonely - I’m here to help you feel heard, seen and safe, and to give you useful strategies for handling the real-life situations that arise with greater calm.
Chronic illness can consume your life. But you are not your chronic illness. You are you - under stress, overwhelm, exhaustion, grief and frustration. I understand the unique challenges of living with chronic illness and it has become one of my specialties, because you need a different kind of support.
Sometimes you may just need to vent - to get it all out with someone who can listen with empathy, and without judgement. You may need help with communicating what you need to the people in your life who are trying to help (in all of the wrong ways) without hurting their feelings. Maybe you need someone to sit with you and work through all of the worst-case scenarios that no one else wants to talk about. Or, you need someone to help you stay positive. I’m here to help with what you need.
Focus Areas

There are also other factors that affect chronic illness - like anxiety and stress, and/or previous trauma. We may want to work on these as well. Reducing stress and anxiety has been shown to lessen pain, and maximizing your mental health can only help your physical health journey.
